What: MEETING.
When: Some fine afternoon.
Where: The corner cafe
Warnings: There may be some intense banter. Strap on your welding goggles, kids.
It had been a grueling couple of days of adjusting, that was for sure--Bell had gone from super-lame lowlife to high-class art collector extraordinaire. Fun times, of course, but it was impossible to wake up without wondering if she was making everything up. So far, even if it was a dream, it was one she wasn't waking up from, which was good.
Now she was sitting in the courtyard of the tiny cafe outside her apartment, her nose in a book, a pencil tucked behind her ear. She was taking notes on the pieces of art in her house (which she figured she should know a thing about, but didn't), while enjoying a delicious passion tea lemonade--ah, this was the life. |
