The glass walls of Charlene's office afforded an excellent view of the grounds surrounding the castle lit by the early afternoon sun. Stoney gazed out over the green expanse as he sipped on his "morning" coffee and waited for the meeting to begin. |

The walk through the streets of London had been pleasant and McGee's Miscellany was quite easy to find. Stoney spent a few minutes perusing the wares displayed in the window as he finished up his coffee and deposited the cup in the trash. He held the door for a large woman and followed her into the shop. |

The table was covered with an exquisite linen cloth, set with bone china and silver. The glasses were the finest Polish lead crystal and the wine was at the perfect temperature. leaning on the balustrade, Stoney flipped through the file one more time then looked out over the manicured garden as he waited for his dinner guest to arrive. |

Warnings: Swearing, drinking, possible bad bassist jokes.
Teja wasn't expecting anyone from Dethklok to show up for a while. Hell, if they ever showed up again, it would be a phenomenally small probability they'd all be from the same reality, and it'd be all five of them. And he knew for a damned fact that none of them would know who he was, or any of the other Warteeth and Skwigelves that had populated the world and board. It was only until just recently that he'd worried he'd have to explain the plethora of young, strange descendents to the band. But they left, and all that was left of the legacies were himself, and his niece, Ceevee.
What he really wasn't expecting was another kid of the 'klok to show up. What he really, really, really, wasn't expecting was one he'd never met. So when he heard the tell-tale ding of a klok-name showing up on the boards, he was expecting only Charlene or Cee to have posted. When he saw the name Murderface appear, he stood, stunned, and stared at it momentarily, looking at it, then the icon next to it, and then back to it again. He asked his supervisor for a quick break, citing a 'family emergency', and walked into the break room to have a cigarette and reply to this newcomer.
At the current point in time, however, he had returned to his post at the bar and was drying glasses and setting them back on the shelf while he waited for this supposed Murderface to take a seat at the bar. He may have seemed a bit too intent at staring at the door. If looks could literally pierce, his stare would have bore a hole through the door and straight into the walkway outside by now. New meat was suspect, but, at this point in time, strangely welcome. |
