Stephen smirked slightly, "We'll see, we'll see," and that's all he said about that. One of the things about what Sophie had said was that while Pepper might have resigned herself to an inevitable fate, Stephen didn't do that kind of thing. "Yes, I'm afraid you might be in over your head on this one," and he tightened his grip on her and swung, dipping Pepper as he sidestepped in their dance. He held her like that for a moment before he lifted her back up, righting the two of them as he continued on with their motions.
