She thought for a bit. If he came to Old Town looking for trouble, would he find it, or cause it? Was all this an act? How much can one person really trust another?
Most importantly, was this the way she wanted to live her life? Always second guessing and jumping at shadows? "If it won't make you tired or anything. I'm just bein' stupid, ain't no problem with stayin' here."
She didn't really want to bother lying to him about what was wrong. It seemed rather pointless, anyway. Why would a woman go so suddenly from hot to cold if not for the same reason she was doing so?
