Lionel merely observed the exchange between Nancy and Dr. Craven, shaking the man's hand when prompted. Lionel wasn't very trusting of people, and there was just something about him...suspicious with this.

They headed back out to the car and Lionel drove them back down to the camp site, parking closer by and not in a ditch this time. He'd leave Nancy to get the radio running while he made sure they had a sturdy tent set up for the two of them for the night.
