"Dunno, being a medic or something." He shrugged. "I'd hate to have someone die because I accidentally replaced their spleen with something I wasn't supposed to."
His posture was more a matter of habit than a matter of actually convincing her, but he had to admit he was genuinely curious about how far along she was. He guessed that they were about the same rate, but he wondered if his soldier's training might put him over. He didn't really care; it was merely a curiosity.
