Once he felt her arms wrapped securely around his waist, he knew it was time to go, and he kicked the bike into gear. To him, riding was a form of freedom, like nothing could touch him when he was doing it. He imagined that flying felt the same for her, but even more so, and he really was glad that she had something like that. He also knew that in the next few days they were definitely going to get her a helmet. He'd let her pick it out.
Most of the time when they were together, it was at her apartment, or some other location. They'd never really been to his. Mainly cause his old apartment was kind of bare, it had all the required things, but didn't really have a splash of his personality, mainly because he hadn't considered it a permanent home. He was sure there were items strewn about that would give people an idea as to his quirks, but not tons. Besides, they had a home together now, his apartment was a thing of the past.
Still, he had the way there memorized, he'd been down the roads plenty of times. He pulled up to the complex and hopped off the bike, pulling her gently with him. He fished the keys out and led her to the apartment that belonged to him. It wasn't that high up, not as much as hers, and once the door was open, he tugged her inside.
"Looking forward to letting someone else live here. Just brings me closer to spending every minute with you." He'd pretty much already moved in, they just needed to bring the rest of his stuff.
