Navi loved that she still felt butterflies from being with him, but they weren't out of fear. They were out of excitement, out of anticipation. She didn't feel stupid around him, didn't feel too exuberant or too loud or too awkward. She was just Navi, and Alec adored her. Alec loved her. It was something she was excited to spend the rest of her life repaying. And living with him was exciting; she was already entertaining the prospect of redecorating, getting a few manly pieces so he'd feel at home too. They could salvage things from his current apartment, but she liked the idea of going out and finding out the sort of things he liked. A shopping trip focused on him.
She grinned, taking one of his fingertips between her teeth and running her finger over the tip before letting go and stretching. "Good. Tomorrow sounds awesome. Maybe sometime soon, if you want, we can go shopping for stuff for the apartment you like. It's kind of girlish, and I want to make sure it's home for you too, you know?" She felt his body growing closer and felt her skin flush in response to both his proximity and his words. She leaned up a bit and unsnapped the tie on the lingerie she was still wearing, even though she had no idea why.
