A waitress had come over to try to take their orders, but could take a hint from Link's tone that it wasn't a time to interrupt. It wasn't angry. Or at least, it wasn't terribly angry. It was disappointed and abandoned and echoed the sadness of a child who lost a friend and didn't understand why that had to happen.
