Who: Mark Sloan and Jacinda Jesbar
What: Dinner and drinks
Where: Chicago
When: Tonight
Warnings: Nah
Jacinda had been surprised to find a nice man her age hitting on her. An attractive one at that. Usually, they were frightened off by a middle-aged mother with children. Not that she'd been trying very hard to date the last few years. But this? Something seemed right about this. He wasn't her late husband by any means, but he didn't have to be. She hoped the pleasant interaction would last, and if nothing else, she needed more friends her age. You couldn't do much better than an attractive, intelligent doctor, and one who complimented her at every turn.
She dressed in a black, tea-length dress with wide shoulder straps and comfortable sandals she could walk in. She grabbed a light jacket for when the weather got chilly and headed for the portkey. In a little while, she was in Chicago. She got out of a taxi at the restaurant Alinea he'd suggested and looked for Mark. She was a couple minutes early, so she wasn't expecting him just yet, but she had a feeling he'd stand out.
