Toshia had a free morning while on a work trip to Chicago. Her trips sometimes involved boring meetings as well as photo shoots, so she'd never been so glad to have some time to herself.

She'd decided to check out a nearby coffee shop she'd been recommended. As she picked up her finished drink, a rude customer shoved her aside and pushed past the line, apparently in a hurry to leave. She stumbled into the man next to her, barely keeping a hold on her drink so it didn't spill all over him.

"Hey!" she cried out indignantly. The rude man was already gone, however, and Toshia turned to the blonde man she'd been shoved into. First she made she sure hadn't spilled on either of them. "Ugh, can you believe him? I didn't spill anything on you, right? I'm so sorry."

Ray stumbled and then stabilized himself, juggling his coffee and the plate he held with some danishes on it, and grinned.

"Not your fault, so don't worry. I'm completely coffee free. There are always idiots around here. I just arrived a couple of days ago and I already am bracing every time I come in. It's worth it though, for the coffee and danishes."

He saw a table open up and placed his plate and cup on it quickly, then turned back to her.

"You new around here?"

	Toshia shook her head in disgust, feeling like flipping the rude guy off, but he was already outside and halfway down the block so it wouldn't have done any good. She nodded at this new guy, glad nothing had spilled on either of them. "I've never been here before, but someone recommended it. Am I new? Wait... you just got vortexed in, didn't you?" 	She gave a tiny laugh. "You posted the other day, didn't you? I don't check those often, but you seemed new." Toshia knew the shop was busy, and this guy seemed nice enough, so she smiled and set her coffee cup down before sitting down herself. "Sure. What's your name?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"No," she chuckled, "just bored with my meetings and I had some free time to see what was going on." Toshia shook his hand with a genuine smile. "Toshia Morgan. 	"Nice to meet you too." She noticed the raised eyebrow, but didn't offer any more information. When he was curious, he would ask.
