Morrigan was out in the woods, gathering some firewood. Magic made it easy enough to start fires, but they still needed fuel if they wanted to keep it going. It wasn't too bad right now, but it was supposed to get cold tonight.

When she got back to the cabin, she slipped out of her boots and hung her coat over a rack. Under the coat, she was wearing a light summer dress that had been hidden in the back of the closet, possibly from before Morrigan even took over the cabin. It fit well, though. She padded, barefoot, into the living room, placing the wood next to the hearth. A few logs in the fireplace, and she cast a spell to light up the logs.

	This... really wasn't like Morrigan. At all. Usually, she'd send Alim out to get the firewood, often under threat of fire. Lots of fire. Coming out into the main room of the cabin, he couldn't help but arch an eyebrow. Something was most definitely off. "Are you feeling alright, Morrigan?" (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Morrigan turned when she saw Alim, smiling brightly. "Good morning! I'm fine! How are you? Did you sleep well?" She was.. bouncy. In fact, she moved to his side and hugged his arm lightly before kissing his cheek. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

By the Maker. For a brief moment, Alim's thoughts turned to Flemeth, but that was easy to push aside - there was no way that Flemeth would be so cheerful. Nor would she bounce.

"I slept fine... completely fine." That, at least, was something he could thank the world for. No darkspawn meant no strange dreams. "Are you sure? Because... well, I don't think I've ever seen you so... cheerful."

Yes. That was the word. Not 'completely insane'.

	"Good!" she said when he mentioned how he slept. She hugged him again. "Hm? What's not to be cheerful about? We have a nice fire, we both slept well, and we're together." She smiled sweetly up at him. That last one was the most important. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	That last one was also slightly terrifying to hear coming out of Morrigan's mouth. Was this belated head trauma? It was the only excuse Alim could even remotely think of. Or the universe.
