Bruce had fallen for quite a while before he landed in the city of Oz. Or Miami as it was. This was just what he needed, something even more crazy to happen. Hadn't they just saved New York a couple of days ago? Now this happened, and he could instinctively tell that this wasn't quite the Florida he was used to. The big guy was angry for being distorted, falling, hurting himself and generally being used. It was taking quite a lot for Bruce to keep him under control.

There was a lot of breathing and looking at the water while he waited for Tony to show up. Bruce might have been hitting some things. Like palm trees. Just to help.

	Tony had jumped a portkey in suit and flown to Banner's location. He was really hoping it would be overkill, but he wasn't taking any chances where the Big Guy was concerned. 	At the sound of Stark's suit blasting through the air, Bruce glanced up and immediately felt better. At least Tony could handle him or something. Hopefully. 	"Yeah, no problem bud." His manner was the usual laid back "Copyright Tony Stark" attitude, but the suit was on for a reason. "How you guys holding up?" He was worried but really more for Bruce than anything else. He could keep the Hulk from Miami and frankly it had to take a toll on Banner to have control wrenched away. 	If he hadn't hulked out by now, Bruce figured he was safe. Safe enough. But he didn't blame Tony for being nervous. It was for the best. "I think.. I think we're okay. Confused, but okay. Tony shrugged a bit, taking a bite of his own donut. "Multiverse theory, many worlds, temporal irregularity, blah blah blah. Everyone's got a theory, but mainly this universe seems to be a jackass kidnapper. And while we can all get pulled in eventually, it seems I showed up a year before the rest of you. Well, Fury showed up a few months back, and Pepper's been here awhile too."

At mentioning Pepper, his face softened. Likely wasn't even aware of it. "Haven't found a way back, but people have been here for years without heading back. And fucked if this world didn't need saving now and then anyway."

Bruce listened to him, trying to just wrap his head around it. Theories sure, but feeling it in person was something else. "Wow, well I guess in order for that to work, it means that if you go back, you go back to the same place you left so that there's no halt in the time line?"

That was some pretty powerful stuff. He noticed the thing about Pepper but didn't say anything. "It does? Well that's.. good to know. So what do we do? Just.. live like it's home?"

Tony smirked, shaking his head.

"You're disgusting, Bruce. But smart as hell, so I'll let that slide." He walked down the street with the typically 'zero-fucks-to-give' swagger that he still could manage in the suit.

Somehow.

"So, the Avengers exist here. Like I said, been here awhile. This place needs defending probably every other month. So we've got a few extra members."
