"Fury told me. I think the thought of Stark being organized is what cemented this whole 'alternate reality' thing for me. That and the fact that he got Batman to join up with him." Hill said with a shrug. She didn't think very much of Stark, despite his genius. Actually, that wasn't correct. She thought a lot of Tony Stark, but none of it was good. He was an arrogant, spoiled child with a lot of toys and she was entirely uncomfortable with trusting him with the fate of the world. "Good thing we've got a few months until Halloween to get things running more smoothly."
She was glad for the shift from work talk. It had been a long day of trying to figure out what the hell was going on, and she took a moment to rub her eyes tiredly. He was right about people gravitating towards people they knew, because here she was in D.C. with Coulson and, ostensibly, Fury. Sighing, she fished the NSA badge out of her jacket pocket. "Either this universe is really efficient or has a fucking funny sense of humor. They made me a goddamn NSA agent in Los Angeles. Should be pretty easy to get a transfer."
