Elena was thrilled beyond words once she found out Caroline had actually been transported here. After all, she'd only had Damon as a friend and Calliope who was gone now. So technically? Just Damon now. Of course that thrill was sort of gone after a small argument with said vampire and learning that her best friend was also a vampire.
Somehow, Elena knew it was all going to be her fault in the end once she learned the full story from Caroline and got back to Damon to figure out why (if?) he was still pissed at her.
For the moment, though? Something normal. Shopping, with the best shopper Elena had ever known since they were both kids.
