Neal had gotten off work in a good mood. He'd visited a little shop in Greenwich Village and managed to find something he thought BB would love, in addition to the necklace he'd gotten. He felt better about this gift. It was more personal.

He walked in the door, looking around, wondering if she was home. "Beebs? You there? It's me." They still had to be sort of careful, even if Keller had been dormant for a little while.

	"I'm here!" She was wearing one of his t-shirts and a pair of his boxers. In her hands was a large present, wrapped gaily in shiny red paper. A smaller one was underneath it, wrapped the same way. Curled up on the sofa, she smiled to herself, wondering if he'd like his gifts. (Reply to this)

	"Hey." She kissed him gently, nuzzling closer. "Everything's been fine. So, I managed to get you and I tickets to a hot bar for tonight. They sold out in four minutes. The thing is, it's themed." She twined her fingers through his, sighing contently. (Reply to this)

	"Okay." Neal chuckled. Prohibition could be a lot of fun, as themes went. "Would you mind going to get my briefcase? Your presents are in there." Both the necklace he'd gotten her and the slightly larger present he'd gotten from the Greenwich Village shop. (Reply to this)

	She nodded, standing up. "Don't you dare try to peek under the tape while I'm up. No shaking either." She knew that he was a twelve year old, so she'd thrown his suit in a box, then put that box in a bigger box that she'd put a rock inside of. (Reply to this)

	Of course, Neal did shake the box surreptitiously, blinking at its weight. What the hell had she gotten him? He wanted her to open hers, so when she got back, he said, "We should take turns, because I'm kind of excited to see what you think of yours." (Reply to this)

	BB laughed. "I knew you'd shake it, you toddler. Open the other box inside it." She smirked, stretching her legs out in front of her. She'd been thrifting late last year for shirts for herself, and while out and about, she'd found a vintage 1986 Thomas Pink suit from London. Immediately, she'd bought it and saved it for this day. 	"Okay." Neal laughed. She did know him, he had to admit. He opened the other box, turning aside the tissue paper and smiling. It was a suit, but on looking at the tag, he laughed. "Thomas Pink?" How vintage was this? (Reply to this)

	"It was made in London." She blushed, waiting for him to notice the '1986' in tiny stitching on the label. "I knew you'd like it, and it's your size. You shouldn't have to have Aron adjust it much at all." She knew his measurements. (Reply to this)

	He was inspecting it, looking at the pattern, and when he came across the label, Neal blinked hard. "Wait. This is actually vintage." He looked up at her, even more delighted. "Where did you find this in London?" What a stroke of luck. This was incredible. (Reply to this)

	"I didn't. I found it at the Salvation Army on 42nd." She smiled, leaning back and looking at how wide and happy his eyes were. It was so heartbreakingly childlike, she wanted to reach over and fuss with his hair. (Reply to this)

	He laughed. "I ... I love it." Neal really couldn't have been much happier, honestly. She knew what he loved and was happy to make him happy. And he felt the same way about her. He kissed her impulsively, hands on her cheeks, barely breathing until it broke. "Thank you," Neal murmured, smiling in a way he knew would look shy. It was just, well, humbling. (Reply to this)

	The kiss made what wasn't melty and happy within her heart crumble, and she moved into it, melting forward and kissing him with such love that she felt like she'd never exist in another moment again. 	She took the thin package from him, smiling as she opened it. "Oh, Caffrey, it's gorgeous." It was a platinum chain with a small black diamond hanging from the end; simple, understated, elegant - and totally something that they both loved. She turned away from him and lifted up her hair so he could put it around her neck. "You spoil me." (Reply to this)

	"Um. I'm super proud of my last one, so I can go again if you want." She took the package in her hands and straddled Neal's lap while she opened it, her forehead resting on his.
