WHO: Gabriel and Lilo
WHAT: Kid watching!
WHERE: Their house in Hawaii
WARNINGS: Probably not.

Things had been refreshingly calm lately, though Gabriel still said the rituals every night to watch over absent family members. He'd done his best at the hospital, and enjoyed the time he had with Lilo. However, things had been kind of calm.

He was calling Lilo right now, hoping she was home to pick up. A coworker of his was in a bind, and he thought he might just be able to help.

Lilo nodded hard. "She's kind of like our baby now, just like you're your mommy and daddy's baby." She giggled, play snuffling on the little girl's neck, causing her to giggle happily. While doing so, she stroked Hortensia, hoping that she'd be okay.
