Aedan was fairly set in his ambition to not be the one who panicked this time. Whenever it was him who did that, things just seemed to be awkward for longer, even if he couldn't quite understand why. Him not understanding things was hardly anything new, though.
Like he didn't understand why Melora had that thing for trees, but he'd definitely grown used to her suddenly jumping out of the most ridiculously tall trees to meet him. "Not been up there long, have you?"
He always hated making her wait. Especially since his mother was such a risk to pretty much everyone's general well-being when anyone else was in the woods.
