Hermione was very confused. First Harry wanted to go on a date and now he just wanted to go out as friends. She wasn't sure what she wanted, but it was getting frustrated to get these mixed signals. She got dressed up, but she didn't want to get too dressed up. She was wearing a nice, but not too flirty dress. She was ready quite a bit early and was waiting impatiently for Harry to show up.

Harry walked in, wearing a nice shirt and not-jeans, mentally berating himself for what he'd said. Why cold feet now? He wanted it to be a date. He liked Hermione, quite a bit actually, but he couldn't shake Ron's voice, telling him that this was low.

What kind of friend was that?

Seeing her standing there, looking as beautiful as the night of the Yule Ball, Harry just chucked the voice out the window for a moment.

It was a date.

"Hello, Hermione."

	"That sounds great. I love Indian food." She beamed at him as she took her keys and walked out the door, locking it behind her. She let him lead the way to the portkey, wrapping her arm around his as they walked. It wasn't uncommon for her to do this. They weren't exactly scared of physical contact. 	Hermione nodded. "But it's where we are, and we have to make the best of it." She took a deep breath. "He could," she agreed. She missed Ron and she knew that Harry did, too.
