Melora had a queen size bed, but once Hawke had taken a seat, Melora shoved herself right next to her mother like they were sharing an airline seat. "I'm not worried about him forgiving me... Well, I guess kind of. But he ran away. In the middle of monsters. He could've really gotten hurt, and he won't even talk about it."
Melora felt guilty for hurting his feelings, but she also knew he'd been kind of an idiot about it, too. She didn't entirely blame herself. "But.. I should've been there for Gaius. He sent me all these texts but I didn't see them till later. He was worried sick. I'm supposed to be there for him." Melora frowned. Gaius shouldn't have had to go looking on his own. "He needed me." She pressed her head against Hawke's shoulder.
