WHERE: The guildhall and its environs.
WARNINGS: Probably!

Ezio was outside, stripped to the waist, stabbing and cutting into targets. He wanted to keep in form, and he did his best to work on styling, tweaking the arch and the timing. He was lost to time, just working and working. It felt good.

	Dani had come to the Guildhall in short denim cutoffs, her cowboy boots, and a men's undershirt. She had every intention of training with Zevran, but when she saw Ezio there, already working, she grinned a little. Hopping out of her car, she popped the trunk and took out a bandolier of knives. Twirling one over her wrist, she cautiously approached him. "May I watch you?" (Reply to this)

	It was a good thing Ezio heard her before attacking again. He turned, smiling at her, beckoning her for a kiss. "Of course you may. When did you get here?" He hoped he hadn't ignored her for long. (Reply to this)

	She grinned, kissing him happily. "Oh, just a moment ago. DOn't worry, you're not losing your touch." She took off her knives except the one she was still spinning. Her sister and parents would know what that meant; she was nervous. (Reply to this)

	She looked at her feet. "Serving in the dark to save the light? That's what I've done my entire life. It's what I do now, every night in the morgue. It's what I was born to do." She sighed and scrubbed her hands over her face. She knew the next thing she said would be terribly accented, but she said it anyway. "Laa shay'a waqi'un mutlaq bale kouloun mumkin. I believe that." 	Ezio had only just heard of the Nazis - he was doing research on them now. But when she mentioned the Borgia, he nodded. "They were in Roma when I was. They were responsible for quite a lot of misery to my clan, never mind the country." (Reply to this)

	Dani sighed. "From what I've read they were like locusts." She curled her knees up underneath herself, grumbling. "And people like that are still here, and I just want to - I don't know, if I can do something, I have to. I save people from werewolves. I save them from monsters. And I help catch their killers. 	She sighed, reaching out into her bag and finding a pack of cigarettes and lighting one. She didn't smoke too often, but every now and again she couldn't help herself. "I'll have to take you out hunting sometime. I got word on very lost Ankou I might need to shoo back over to France." She blew lazy smoke rings over the practice targets. (Reply to this)

	Ezio ignored the elf, and focused on the lady. "You can hold your own, I am sure, but nonetheless. Let us start barehanded." He waited a few moments and charged, trying to get a good enough hold to toss her to the ground. (Reply to this)

	She nodded, rolling her shoulders to put herself into the fighting mindset. Ezio was a demon, a monster, no more, no less. When he charged, she easily sidestepped him, flipping backward. She wanted to evaluate him first, get a handle on how she fought before she counterattacked. (Reply to this)

	He understood, and as such didn't go right for the throat strike; just to see what she did. They were on flat, open ground, and normally he would go for his blade, but he wanted to see what she could do. He got a hold of one of her arms, expecting her to twist his around, but somehow he guessed she would surprise him. (Reply to this)

	She didn't; instead she wrapped her long legs around one of his, flinging all of her weight backward. If she caught him by surprise, she should've been able to flip him; her surprising strength tended to shake people loose anyway. (Reply to this)
