Eleven had probably never unlocked the doors with quite so much... bounciness. Sometimes, he missed the old way, that big lever you just pulled and the door swung open, but this way worked too.
Pushing them open, the sight through them was enough to make him simultaneously stop still and start laughing. It was relief, pure and simple - not only had he landed right, he'd landed right in a grove of trees he'd known as a boy. It looked the same still, right down to the specific shade of silver the leaves had.
"We're home!" He sprang out the door, spinning around in a circle. A giddy Time Lord was probably a rare sight, but he had an excuse. "Beautiful, beautiful Gallifrey. Shining World of the Seven Systems..."
To be honest, he was about ten seconds away from hugging a tree.
