The Eleventh Doctor is older than the sky itself ([info]oldbutnew) wrote in [info]utr_logs,
"If there's something there." Eleven was still rather focused on one of the more absorbing controls, one built out of bits of an old Rubik's cube that'd irritated him too much, before chancing a glance up at the scanner screen.

Kasterborous, yes, he knew the galaxy was always there. Karn, yes - were the Sisterhood there in this world, he wondered. Be nice to see them again - Polarfrey. Yes. Getting there.

And his jaw dropped. It couldn't be. Dust on the scanner. No, wait, dust didn't get there, that was silly. Had Amy leant on the scanner and left a mark? She would've had to have leant on it for a long time to make that, and defy gravity whilst at it. Was it a blip? It was a steady one if so. A rather uniquely coloured blip.

"...She's here. Gallifrey is here," his voice was shaking with barely-contained excitement. This was their home. Maybe not exactly, but it was a Gallifrey, and that was more than they'd encountered before. "We're home. Somehow. I don't know how, but... it's home, it's Gallifrey. Orange skies, silver trees, the whole thing!"
