Pulling the portkey device out of his pocket, he kept her hand in his, and instantly they were pulled to a small town in New York. It wasn't near Jaina's place, where he was staying. That would have been a bad idea; even he knew that. He'd intentionally picked up the portkey a few towns away. Wordlessly he led her to a small restaurant, and requested a booth in the back. It wasn't until they were seated that he began explaining the way all these different universes seemed to be colliding here, and how little they really knew.
"The worst part is how everyone here just seems to accept it. People seem to be okay with starting over here. Maybe they don't have a war to fight. Maybe they're tired of fighting it."
