Gaius covered his face a little, blushing when Melora went on about grandkids. Wrong thing at the right time. He didn't want them starting to think of grandkids because he didn't want to explain to them how that was unlikely to happen, at least with him. "Yeah, I was actually teaching with Da- Er. Merlin. I haven't really had a chance to check to see if I'm still teaching now. I think I might be. It'd make sense."

Merlin laughed at Melora's joke. It could be much worse. It wasn't that bad really. "Teaching with me? I'm a teacher?" That was pretty exciting. He loved school and he had always thought teaching would be a good career choice for him.
