Teja chuckled at the way her voice seemed to have set off a car alarm five floors down. "Easy, hellcat," he murmured as he slid his sunglasses back on, still carrying the coffee with him, "Don't want to give the geeks a heart attack." He patted her gently on the shoulder, trailing his gloved hand down her spine before walking down the hall. He already had everything he needed; his con badge was pinned to one of the leg holsters, his wallet was tucked safely in one of his front pants pockets, and he had his ceramic boot knife tucked safely in his boot. If anyone asked, it was a prop.
"Oh, uh, they're going to probably ask you to peace-bond your weapons, so you would probably be better to leave them here. It's a pile, but at least you won't have to deal with the hassle," Teja pointed out, giving her one last look over to see if she'd forgotten anything, "Oh, and if you need me to carry anything, let me know. Pockets everywhere."
