"You miss him, huh?" Teja's brow furrowed a little, reaching over to put one hand over hers. "The little one's still in good hands, and don't forget, we're working to get you custody. We should know by the end of the month how successful our lawyers are. You'll get a chance to protect him and raise him the way you want." That said, Teja smiled faintly, finishing up his sandwich before sipping his coffee.
He really wanted to make sure Gaz was happy. And although this was one of those self-indulgent weekends, he wanted to make certain she didn't feel guilty about anything, especially something that was out of her hands at the moment.
