"If you've got it, flaunt it," Teja pointed out, "and if you don't like being ogled, kick their asses. Simple as that." That said, he started on a sandwich for her as well, and smiled over at her, completely amused. "You know, it was my niece's birthday the other day. She turned sixteen so I invited her to come drink at my bar. I figured if there was any way I could make sure she was safe, it was that. I'm still weirded out that she's sixteen. She shouldn't even be conceived yet." He chuckled and handed off the sandwich. "I'm glad I don't have to worry about that sort of thing with Stefan. Yet. Who knows if he'll show up again." It was something that worried him more than he let on -- if he had to meet the child his elder self had, old enough to comprehend that he was still too young to even consider children? That would most certainly screw him up in some way.
"Iunno, though," he said over a mouthful of sandwich, "you seem like you dealt with that pretty well the last time."
