The house was actually empty for once - Dani was who knew where, and her parents had gone for a romantic weekend. Annie had the house - and more importantly, the kitchen - to herself. Jae-sun would be here soon, hopefully. Hopefully he hadn't forgotten. She hummed idly to herself as she kept an eye on her squid that was slowly pan-frying. She could leave the stove to get the door, if she had to.

"Yuki said she worried about my father being alone after she passed, so my father gave her a part of his soul. It keeps her young and healthy, though it didn't fix her blindness and hearing loss."
