"She would, I do realize that now." It had taken him years to come to that realization, but better late than never, right? Though it wasn't so hard to understand why he'd lived as Kourin. He had been so close to her it had killed him in a way when she died. Now he needed to find himself again. When Dar squeezed his hand, he glanced down, not in the least offended by the action. He turned his hand and returned the gentle squeeze, then looked back up at her, a warm smile on his own face. "Definitely, we both are in it together. You know, it is refreshing to have someone else around that understands to this level."
Nuriko couldn't help but smile wider as Dar spoke about her views on fashion. "Well yes, there are the practical uses for clothes, and I'm all for them keeping me warm and protected and so forth. But I like looking good in them. Oh, when I was in the palace, I had these elegant dresses made out of the finest silks and cloths. But of course I couldn't wear them once I started traveling as a Suzaku Warrior, so I had to go for simple clothing that allowed me to move. But I still like clothes looking good and polished." Nuriko did have a repulsion to dirt. He had a tolerance level for it, but it didn't go very high. Usually after a battle he'd get huffy about the dirt or new hole in his clothes.
