What: Meeting for the first time sort of.
Where: At the restaurant Elena works at.
When: Sometime after this conversation.
Why: Because he knows her and she needs a friend.
Warnings: Possible swearing?
She was closing up shop and considered calling Damon to tell him that she was meeting with Sage, then decided not to. Why should he know every little thing going on in her life? True, they were a couple now (which was still very strange for her to even think about) and Damon had sworn to protect her, but Elena was tired of letting others save her. Why couldn't someone else let her save them? Actually, why couldn't she simply have a friend here? She missed Bonnie, Jeremy, Jenna, even Caroline and Alaric. (She didn't want to think about Stefan right then...)
Sighing, she sat on the steps to the little cafe and waited for Sage. He seemed to know far too much about her (a different her?) and that meant either he would be a good friend or a possible enemy. Right then, Elena was hoping it was the former, and considering their talk, she had a good feeling that he would be.
