"Mum!" He dashed forward, reaching out his arms to catch her before her head hit the floor of the entryway. Cradling her head gently, he fell to the floor with her, but making sure that his body carried the brunt of her weight.
It was at that moment that Hotch turned the knob to his apartment door, blinking a bit. "Garcia? I saw your post on the ... " His voice dropped off when he turned his head and saw a teenager holding his girlfriend. "Who are you and why are you in - "
He was interrupted by Jack. "Dad, Mum saw me and fainted because I'm too old. I'll go grab the smelling salts out of the first aid kit if you help me move her to the sofa?"
It was all a lot for Hotch to process, but he couldn't argue with the course of action, at least. Leaning over, he picked up Isabela into a fireman's carry, moving to put her on the couch. Kneeling next to her, he'd barely had time to loosen his tie before the teenage boy was back with a vial of smelling salts. "I startled her, I shouldn't be here."
Ignoring him for the time being, Hotch focused on getting Isabela awake again. Jack, for his part, paced back and forth and nibbled on his lower lip.
