Corinth could begin to see why Cal would go home. The whole idea had seemed crazy to Corinth until now. Cal had people back home he cared about. There wasn't anyone left for Corinth where he came from. His old demon friends had been too afraid (or too smart) to associate with him when he went Renegade, let alone when he was Redeemed. And a lot of the angels--especially the Seraphim--thought they were too good to associate with someone who wasn't 'fully fledged' yet. He'd accepted that it would be a lonely life until he proved himself. He hadn't been ready for Cal.
It would probably be a little tacky to perv on Cal while he was talking about his brother. "Yeah," he said, obviously distracted, not quite sure what he was responding to.
