Corinth pushed himself up onto his knees, looking up at Cal. He didn't even need to use his resonance to see what the man needed. Cal was stubborn, and maybe a little afraid of what he was, but that didn't change why Corinth was here.
He stood up, knowing he'd be back on the ground momentarily. "No," he responded. "That's not what you need." He was ready. Armor was up, and he had other songs prepared if it came to that.
