Zevran was still waiting for the other shoe to drop. He'd debated sneaking out of Morrigan's bathroom window, but figured that would only irritate her more. So instead, he took a shower, a bit on the fast side, toweling his body off enough so that he could pull on his leather trousers and button down shirt.
But he wasn't expecting her to be holding a corpse when he emerged from the tiny room. He became acutely aware of all sensations, the damp hair sticking to the back of his neck, his ears cooling down.
"Morrigan - " He didn't know what else to say. Clearly, this person had meant something to her.
