When the big red haired guy came to get her, he filled her in on the minor, stupid shit. Satan had left for a long while, God was no longer around, most of the band was no longer there, but none of that mattered to her. He wasn't saying anything about why Nathan didn't remember her. It was clear that HE remembered her, though, speaking in a gruff, friendly tone to her that she was used to, telling her who had come and gone in the time that she'd been away, back in her own stupid reality.

None of that fucking mattered. Nathan forgot her. It was brutal. All she even cared about in this reality was blown apart with that. She immediately sunk into a deep Celebrity Depression of epic proportions and went silent. Once back in Mordhaus, she walked straight to her bedroom, and closed the door behind her. She slipped out of her heels and burrowed under the covers, tugging the blankets over her head as she curled up and held back from crying.

Killer jumped up onto the bed, and she let the cat come into the blanket cave, and pulled her pet close to her, petting him as she sniffled.

Stupid vortex.

	Depressed was at least marginally easier to deal with than tantrum-throwing, the only problem was that it tended to last longer, and was always trickier to get over. While she could easily have just let herself in, she chose to knock instead, "Natalie?" (Reply to this)

"GO AWAY!" Growled Natalie. She recognized Charlene's voice, but she was still pissed off about how the Charlene in the regular reality had sucked at being a good manager and had put off hanging out with her and the girls to do stupid important work shit. In the process of the yelling, she startled Killer, who scratched her in the process of scampering out of the blanket cave, which in turn set off a string of growled obscenities.

"I'M NOT HERE." She added as she pressed her lips to the stinging scratches on her arm. Injury added to insult. Fucking great.

Fuck. Couldn't argue that. "Ugh. Fine. What do you want?" Natalie sighed as she got up to unlock the door and open it enough to glare at Charlene. "I'm not coming out, you know, so you just should uh. Not try to make me."

Coping skills? Nope, not present. Natalie's eyeliner and mascara had run and smudged, making her cheeks gray and splotchy, and her hair was messed from being under the covers, so it was in her face and all over. She looked like a complete wreck, which she certainly felt was appropriate. At least she looked how she felt.

	And Natalie wasn't very used to Charlene trying to be personable, so of course, she got suspicious. "No," she said, eyes narrowing, "Not really. Uh. Just... why doesn't... I mean, is it because he's the wrong him? Not that there's a wrong us or anything, I just... This sucks. I'm having trouble being levelheaded." (Reply to this)

Skwisgaar already re-records all those parts already but we kind of need Tori around for live shows. Know what? Fuck it, I don't care right now. 	"He's already on it." She said, she knew that she hadn't given the order, and she suspected that Teja had. Though if he hadn't it would confirm her suspicion that the cook was just a little bit psychic, "Ferb, and yes, he is, though everyone says he's just standing in until the vortex drops a Murderface on us." "Ugh, let's hope it never does, I had enough of her bullshit to last another few decades, over the past few months. You have no fucking idea. Well. No. You do, but yeah. Uhhh. I'm gunna go watch TV now. Thanks for checking in on me, I guess." Natalie sighed after a brief, utterly fake smile, and closed the door. Well, fuck. This all sucked so much ass, that she didn't know where to begin.

She slipped back under the covers and burrowed against the pillows, turning the TV on to watch the nature channel. She liked watching the baby killer lions play-fighting, so she left it on while waiting for the cake and ice cream.

He wasn't entirely sure why, but he felt guilty about the whole stupid thing. The girl was him bot not, he knew that from talking to Teja. But he also knew that she was really hot, and seemed brutal as hell. He'd started to write lyrics for a song about how he was feeling, but he was stuck on a rhyme for guilt.

He had a Gear show him to her room, after describing her as 'growly and small and new'. In a few minutes, he was knocking at her door, waiting for her to say something.

"If you don't have my cake you can fuck off," called Natalie, clearly still morose, the tone in her voice flat and smokey, like she'd spent a good deal of her time smoking filterless marlboros and drinking straight whiskey. At least half of that was true. She pulled her legs up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them under the blankets, sighing heavily. She didn't want to go back home - home was boring, same shit every day stuff, but here, everything used to be awesome, and now it wasn't. It made Natalie exceedingly confused.

She immediately recognized his voice and the lump moved in a vague head-nodding way before she peeked out, running down the letters alphabetically, starting with the one syllables first, "Built, hilt, jilt, kilt, lilt, silt, stilt, spilt, tilt, quilt, wilt, rebuilt... that's all I can think of." She smiled a little, though it was a clearly awkward, worried one. "JP's making me a cake, I don't think I'll be able to eat it all. You can have some if you want. It's triple chocolate."

"No," she grumbled, "I'm not okay. I mean. It's not your fault, just... I leave this place, feel like shit for months when I get back home, and come back to find out you're not the same guy, even though you are, it kinda sucks. I know you didn't have anything to do with it, if you did, you wouldn't be you but the other you, because you wouldn't do that to me if you could help it." It at least made sense to her, in her own flustered way. She sighed and fingercombed her hair back, looking over at him. "And I wasn't even here ten minutes before Charlene comes up to me and tries to be all nice and crap, like she's making up for not paying attention to us or something. May I see your notepad for a second?" She picked up a spare pencil from the nightstand and started writing down letters at the top of the pad, up near the spiral binding. "Now you don't have to hurt yourself thinking about what rhymes with what, you can just look at the letters and go Built, Dilt, Cilt." She sighed and slipped away, burrowing under the covers again.

"Same way, we live here. Well, actually, we fought over the bedroom." She sighed when she realize that he even smelled the same. That just made her more confused, thus more upset. She rolled over and clung to a pillow, hiding the fact that she was being completely unmetal. "I'm not usually this emotional, sorry," she grumbled, "but uh. Yeah. And he was married so there was nothing we could do about it, but then we accidentally got hitched in Vegas and Satan divorced him and it was really fuckin' brutal, but I guess it's not that weird, once you think about it. I mean. I love me. So I just naturally... loved him too. You. Whatever. Nobody else knew me like that."

He asked a pretty amusing question, as far as questions ran, and she wiped her eyes on the pillow, leaving black streaks from her makeup before turning over. Natalie pulled up her shirt just a little to show off her liver transplant scar, "Oh, and if you're wondering about the scar you got in football and I got in lacrosse, yeah, got that, too." She smiled a little more sheepishly as she pulled her shirt down. "We're the same a lot. You dated Rebbecca Nightrod, I dated Romijn Nightrod. You hate sand, I hate sand. You sing in baritone and I sing in contralto, but that's only because I'm a chick and you're a guy. Uhhh. But we sang the same songs, with one exception, you sang Castratikron, and I didn't. We only had fifteen tracks on that album."

	He sat up a little to look at her scar, trailing calloused fingers over it. "That's ... fucking metal," he murmured. He wrapped an arm around her, knowing that he'd be okay with that if she did it to him. He sniffed her hair idly. She wasn't upset by it by any means, that was for damn sure. He was still hot and smelled good and was just like her only male and at least a foot taller. "Yeah, that one's pretty hard to see me singing," And that was when there was a quiet knock on the door, before a klokateer came in with a cart with the cake and ice cream on it, before bowing and walking silently out.

Suddenly, she wasn't really inclined to go off and fetch it. She was comfortable. she ran her fingers over his forearm and sighed. "And it's not like it's fair to you at all that I fell in love with that guy because that guy and you are pretty much identical except he spent time here that you didn't."
