"Oh my sweet stars, didn't that hurt!?" she said immediately, moving more of her purple hair out of the way to properly look at it. "Oh, sweet sisters, I can't see how this wouldn't hurt...losing a ring, that can be quite awful, but a new one is always ready to be found, as much as it may take away from the sentimentality of it all."

Phoebe, after all, had preserved her wedding ring for thousands of years, even though they didn't always do that. The ring was sacred for the gods, however, and especially for her, she who had remained unwaveringly faithful for so long.
