Squeak she did, giggling a little and moving the animals so they wouldn't get sat upon. The blanket went over both of their shoulders, and she nodded, buring her head into his neck. "Don't do that, you'll hurt your eyes," she murmured.
Thinking quietly to herself, she sucked her thumb idly into her mouth, a habit from childhoo. "Would it help if I couldn't get hurt? Or go away?" She was thinking of ways to stop him crying. It felt like her heart was being torn out.
