Lirael didn't notice him move until he was right next to her. "Oh!" She looked up and smiled as she took the second scroll. "Thank you," she said, and there was heartfelt sentiment behind that. She was deeply grateful he had shown her this room. She couldn't believe Jareth had never thought to show her, and it was equally surprising that she hadn't stumbled into it on her own. Charter knew she had found her way into enough restricted areas of the old Clayr library.
"I think I have a new favorite room," she told him with a smile. The ever-expanding bathroom was not nearly as impressive as this place.
