Cal hadn't slept easily, he rarely did even on the good days, and finding himself in yet another new place was enough to stir everything up again and leave him as insomniac as usual. He could almost hear his brother's voice in the back of his head, telling him to stop slacking. So he did what Niko would do, and dug out a pair of sneakers so that he could go for a run, familiarize himself with the neighborhood.
Granted, it was probably something that would raise a few eyebrows, a young man, running, at that time of night, but really he didn't care, he'd survived worse than other people's suspicion and derision in his day, he could do it again.
Right at that moment he was ignoring the 'park closes at dusk' signs throughout Hyde Park, simply because it had the best footpaths, he'd head back out to the sidewalk soon enough, right at the moment he was just trying to outrun his own nightmares.
