"It depends on your definition of incredible." He did smile, looking down at her with a conspiratorial grin. "There is one place I'd love to take you sometime. A small mountain lodge, about halfway up one of China's holy mountains in Buddhism, in Anhui province. A well-known monastery is directly below the pass, and you can watch the monks at their routines. Between the view and the monastery, it's one of the most peaceful places I've ever seen." He shook his head. "In some of the more esoteric branches of Chinese alchemy, nature is usually viewed as not evil, but fallen. Seeing the monastery in Anhui makes me doubt that." Belatedly he realized he was nattering on, and blushed slightly. "Apologies. Sometimes I allow my tongue to run away with me."
