What: Grabbing food after the movie they all saw together

It was nice for Jaina to be able to get out of her house for a while. Not only was she busy with the kids, but she'd withdrawn to her family when Jacen disappeared. It had been a rough month, and she hadn't really wanted to be around any non-family for a while. Her life was finally beginning to return to normal, though, and she was able to enjoy the movie. She hadn't known Mia or Harmony beforehand, but it seemed like they'd needed the break almost as much as she had.

"That was pretty good," Mia commented as they exited the theater. "No Manilow. So, bonus." She grinned at the older woman. Mia and Harmony had talked online a few times, and Mia had taken a liking to her. She was upfront and she didn't talk down to Mia. She just got a good vibe from her.

Harmony was glad that her two companions had enjoyed the movie as well. There was nothing like explosions and overpriced popcorn to put her in a good mood.

She shuddered as Mia mentioned the torment of her last week. "Ugh. Thank goodness. I don't want to have to Hulk out in front of people I barely know." She chuckled and smiled at Jania. "This last week, with the candy? I got stuck with one awful song by this one awful douche."

	Mia grinned brightly. "Seriously, there are not many things that would put me off of eating chocolate, but non-stop Copacabana is enough to make me give it up for good." She shrugged. 	"What about white chocolate?" Mia suggested. Jaina shrugged. "I imagine it would be worse without the Force. At least I could pull them off the ceiling. I just couldn't take my eyes off them for more than a minute. Didn't get much done." She laughed. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Eh, last I heard it was all candy. I'm sure it's safe now, but I don't think I'll be trying it any time soon." She chuckled a little at her own insecurity. "And to think I thought I liked it here."

She did have to stop in her tracks at the mention of the Force. Harmony had always been a sci-fi geek - it came with being a tomboy and loving her geeky brothers best - and she immediately recognized that as something Awesome. But she made sure to choke it down and stop fangirling.

	Mia smiled. "Guess it's a good thing my stomach wasn't up for sweets that day." She stretched one arm across her chest, loosening up. Jaina didn't seem to notice Harmony's reaction. 	Mia pulled her hair back with a tie from around her wrist. "Guys, I should probably cut out. All that action put me in the mood for kicking ass. 	Harmony blinked and chuckled at Mia. "I did not know you were a superherokick. Go get you some, you have my number." She nodded and smiled at the younger girl, very proud of her even though she barely knew her. Grinning at Jania, Harmony shrugged. 	Mia shrugged nonchalantly. "It's this thing I do. We'll hang out sometime, I'll tell you all about it." She grinned and gave a wave before heading out. Jaina waved to Mia. "Bye. 	Harmony licked a finger and held it aloft to figure out where the wind was coming from. That in mind, she stood to the right of Jania and light a cigarette with her Zippo before putting it back into her jacket pocket. Jania's laugh made Harmony smile in turn. "Pictures of the kidlets?" 	Jaina nodded. "Apparently they're torturing Anakin." She passed over the phone to show the picture message she'd just received of Cait wrapping her Uncle Ani up in toilet paper. Jaina's eyes widened at the suggestion of two sets of twins. Scary. "Just one set of two. Caitlyn and Christopher. They're almost five. My brother and I were twins too, though." Her words were more tangled and confusing than she meant them to be. She shook her head, forcing a small smile. "Not Anakin. He's a few years younger. Jacen's my twin. He's gone."

She shook her head, feeling a little sheepish. "And that was a lot of talking that probably should have been done over ale. Yeah, food and drink. Sounds good."

	"I've got a bunch of sisters and two brothers, but no twins." She didn't mention that they were mostly half-siblings because she didn't really think of them that way. Jaina's smile was nice, and Harmony held the door open for her as they walked inside. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Jaina was a bit confused by the line about navel gazing--she still hadn't fully absorbed all of the slang from this world. A few phrases were beyond her. She shrugged and took a drink of her beer. 	Jaina gave a pained smile. "I don't know.. I hear they do." She'd lost a lot of people. "My husband disappeared too, but.. that was years ago." She was pretty much over that, at least, she thought so. She'd dated since then, though her relationship with Galen was never really very intimate. (Reply to this) (Parent)
