Lilo was sitting down on the beach near the spot she and Gabriel had arranged to meet up so she could teach him how to swim. She'd picked a slightly more modest bathing suit than what she usually wore for casual beach visits - a one piece, not a bikini. It was more like what she wore for surfing.

Digging her toes in the sand, she waited for him to arrive, smiling to herself. Hawaii was where she felt happiest, even if it stung sometimes that Phineas wasn't there to share it with her.

	Gabe couldn't help but be a little nervous, both because he really didn't know how to swim, and because he kind of liked spending time with Lilo. She was really mellow. And pretty. He saw her standing near the surf, wearing her swimsuit. He'd gotten one too - he was really serious about this shit. Gabe raised his voice a little to get her attention. "Hey, Lilo!" 	"I'm the oldest in mine now, but I was the youngest before." She squeezed his hand. "You're not a shrimp! You're kind of buff and pretty tall. 	"Oh, I'll try to make sure you don't get too much. I hate pools, but most of the hard work we'll do out there. Here, we're just getting you used to feeling the water." She motioned for him to stay there, jogging forward and diving into the surf, swimming out a bit to get her hair wet. (Reply to this)

	Gabe watched her for a while and had to grin; she looked like a fucking fish. She was really at home. While he watched, he gritted his teeth and let his knees bend, letting the water cover him up to about chest height. It felt good at first, but then he came up and yelped. "Fuck!" Cold. Wow. 	Gabe nodded, trying to ape her motion. "Kay. And arch my back?" He held his breath and leaned forward, trying to move his arms in that way and kick.
