There was a nagging feeling in the back of Momos' head that something wasn't right. The way Ate hadn't been pissed. The way she'd responded to his I love you. The way she'd just seemed...different. All of those told him that something was off. But he pushed it to the back of his mind and told himself it was all in his head. No way would Eris fuck with this. She should know better by now then to spout lies about him and Ate.

Letting himself into the apartment, Mos looked around for Ate and found her setting the table in the kitchen. He lounged against the doorway and just looked at her.

"Have I told you how beautiful you are lately?"
