Keller was mildly surprised to find that he wasn't all that nervous about this, granted, he was hardly suave and sophisticated, but he never was. He actually arrived early, just by a few minutes. He was dressed up, for once, and he fluffed a hand through his hair to make sure it was all going the same direction before he hopped up the steps to the front door, knocking twice.

Annie had put on something nice, as Keller'd told her to, and had packed a small bag. It was kind of exciting, that he still wouldn't tell her what he had planned. Spontaneity wasn't his strong suit, especially not fancy spontaneity.

She heard the knock on the door and went to open it, eyebrows raising when she got a look at Keller. "Mm. Handsome. Hey." She kissed him on the cheek. "Come in just a sec, gonna tell Daddy I'm going." Annie moved off toward the kitchen, but stopped. "Incoming." She would have elaborated, but Roxy just appeared after that, barking and wagging her tail so fast Annie wondered if it might fall off.

	He smiled at the greeting, slow spreading, amused, really, "Hello yourself gorgeous." At the warning, he huffed a laugh, dropping to one knee so he could scruff at Roxy's ears, keeping his face well out of reach, "He's not going to threaten to shoot me, is he?" (Reply to this)

	"Nah. You haven't hurt his baby girl for this long." Annie winked, disappearing. He could probably hear her talking, though. "Daddy, I'm going with Keller for the weekend." A pause. "No, he hasn't told me where. It's a surprise." Her father laughed and said to be careful and call later. She kissed his cheek and went back out to Keller. "Easy enough. Lead on." (Reply to this)

	"Good." he said, smiling again, "Because we've got reservations at Rue 57 in about a half hour." he shrugged, "Gives you time to drop stuff off at the room beforehand." He'd actually been thinking ahead and had gotten all checked in earlier in the day. (Reply to this)

	She knew that name. Where did she know that name from ... eventually, the answer came to her: Brendann. It was in New York. "Keller!" She finally just laughed in surprise. A weekend in New York? It was about the last thing she'd have ever expected from him. She hugged him right there in front of the portkey. "That's really sweet. Really thoughtful." (Reply to this)

	That was borderline shock. Seeing Chicago? Dani had to have helped with that one. Annie could fairly feel her eyes bug out, and she laughed, shaking her head. "You've made a Winchester speechless. Celebrate." Screw the other people near the portkey; she kissed him good and hard, standing on her tiptoes to do it. (Reply to this)

	"It suddenly all makes sense." Annie smiled. He'd been doing a lot of planning. The elevator stopped and they got off; Annie let him take the lead. Annie walked in and gaped; it was a wide expanse of space that was punctuated with all the essentials - a bed that looked soft enough to drown in, a bathroom through which she could see the built-in hot tub, and a great view that stretched most of the way down the island, or so it seemed. "This just looks great. I'm gonna get sick of saying that word." Her eyes were soft, though, and she kissed him on the cheek again. This had to have cost a lot and the fact he'd do it for her was ... sweet.

	Damn, he had a point about the dinner. Fun now, "fun" later. Still, she snuggled on him, smiling. "It is kind of awesome." She would have made a point that it felt like the bed Mom had bought for Daddy, but that might be kinda weird. (Reply to this)
