Who: Domino Harvey & Sheldon Sands
Where: Nightclub in London
When: RIGHT THE HELLS NOW!
Warnings: uh, probably some sweary, will update if necessary.

Domino was mostly surprised that the place was actually still there, a decade and another universe later, it hadn't changed much either, restaurant on the ground floor, dancefloor in the basement and a cleverly designed warren of comfortable corners and hidden couches on the top floor, with a balcony with a tiki bar that she was fairly sure hadn't been there before, but it was amusing to her all the same.

The balcony was where she was right at the present, keeping an eye on the street below, she'd caught on to the portkeys like a fish to water, and knew where the drop off was further up the block, and was keeping one eye out for her escort for the evening, and one eye on the crowd inside, just in case she wanted to lose herself in it for a while.

Sheldon finally showed up and dressed in black. His tanned skin and dark hair and eyes were a stark contrast to the paler blond and blue-eyes of other citizens. Still, he didn't mind looking once in a while for a stray glance here and there when the whim suited him.

He arrived at the club where he was asked to go and looked up the structure toward the balcony. With a smirk and a small wave, he wasn't quite sure why or how he knew she was up there. No sense in shouting. It wasn't going to do him any good with all the noise around.

Domino spotted him easily enough, and smiled crookedly when he spotted her, beckoning him up, it was quieter upstairs, though she'd probably insist on going down to the basement at least for a while, because that was the point of going to a nightclub as far as she was concerned, to get lost in the crowd for a while.

As if on cue, he did meet Domino upstairs. His eyes gauged her up and down, finding that her physique was certainly a lot stronger than he originally thought. "Domino, right?"

She smiled, nodding in response, "The one and only." She sized him up as well, it was just second nature now, knowing who'd probably pose the worst threat if it came down to a fight, which was something that happened oddly frequently when Domino was around, "Which means that you must be Sheldon."

She sounded like a native, which really shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone.

"Bingo. Irish, Welsh or British?" He said with a slight tilt to his head. He picked up a few other little details mostly about the crowd. The really didn't seem to pay any mind to the pair of them which was fine with Sheldon. He hated bringing on unwanted attention unless he was standing on the bar as a distraction or to see if anyone would notice.

His thin build and sharp jawline was not an average feature for many. He certainly looked more Native American than Mexican or American. At 5'11, he wasn't entirely over the top.

"True blue Brit." she said, smiling again as she fished out a cigarette case, offering it to him after she'd snapped one up herself, "Though I was transplanted to Beverly Hills of all places not too long ago." She shrugged, "And then landed in bloody Vegas when I first got here, high as a fucking kite." A crooked little smile, "Through no fault of my own, I might add."

Taking the cigarette from the case with a chuckle, he could only imagine the terrible state of affairs that she's had to endure. "No offense taken. Ooh, America in all it's splendors must be a terrific joyride. Vegas....yikes. And high to boot? Nasty."

He pulled out his lighter, flicking the wheel with his thumb and offered her the light first. "Me, I landing in a fucking cornfield of all places."

She nodded at that, as if weighing things out mentally for a moment, taking a deep drag of her cigarette, "I'd say that's worse, even with the mescaline." They'd finally sorted out that's what she'd been dosed with, "Have you figured out who you replaced yet?"

"Replaced?" He wasn't entirely sure what Domino meant by the word. "What do you mean by that and am I supposed to wake up from some odd dream like from Invasion of the Body Snatcher's or something? Mesculine...that's some screwed up brew. Wow, I'm surprised your heart didn't burst." Taking in his own drag, he nods. "Still, I think I'm still me, from last I knew only my badge is slightly different."

She nodded, "We're transplants, you and I, means we fell into lives that were already here." She shrugged, "Me? I'm apparently a showgirl, might stick with it for a while, not like it's a difficult job."

There was another, more somber nod at the rest, "Yeah, might have if Big Red hadn't found me. Still not entirely sure how I managed to post anything, by phone, as messed up as I was."

"Teja, right?" Sheldon remembered him from the phone conversation. "Yeah, I think I'm still C.I.A. Last I checked anyway. Haven't gotten any calls yet confirming it but I did get a close shave. Still, you're pretty damn lucky. Most of the people that I have seen get mixed up with that shit wound up dead."

Sheldon gave a smirk at the showgirl job, "You certainly got the legs for it."

"I should hope I do!" She said with a laugh, "I was a model before we moved to Beverly Hills." Another shrug followed, leaning back against the railing once more, "And I'm not entirely sure I'm not dead, I landed here out of a rolled Winnebago." There was a brief gesture with her hands, indicating that it had gone end over end and not just a barrel roll.

"Teja though, that's the guy. Take it he found you too?"

Watching her movements and listening to her story, a low whistle came from the exhale of his drag. Relaxed though alert, Sheldon was every bit an agent. "So I take it that this guy watches the network for newbies and for potentials. What's his gig or is he just nosy?" Sheldon gave a nonchalant smirk and a lean on the rail as he looked over the crowd.

She shrugged, "Chief of security for a rock band, actually, at least, that's what he tells me, I think he's a tank in his spare time."

She smiled crookedly, letting her gaze drift over the crowd as well, wondering how easy it would be to start a fight here, "But I think he picks up strays too."

"I'd hate to see what the litter box looks like." He knows what she meant by strays but he thought that breaking the ice a little more with a bad joke would make conversation easier. "I wonder just how many of them he's seen or how long he's been here." He flicks some ash down into the crowd absentmindedly. "I dig your gig and I'm getting the picture on his, so what's the plan or are we just wanderers?"

She figured that he knew more than he let on, he had that kind of feel to him, the same as Ed had.

She couldn't help but smile, huffing a laugh at the joke, she was sometimes easily amused, "Says he was born here. And I'm pretty sure we're all just objects in space." Her smile went just a little crooked, sharp around the corners, "Doesn't mean we can't have a little fun while we're here though."

Turning around to face her with still the relaxed lean on the rail, he tilted his head to the side with a smirk on his face. "I can dig it. What do you have in mind?" He took another drag from his cigarette and played with the idea of causing a little ruckus sprinkled with mayhem.

She shrugged, finishing off her cigarette and flicking the butt end out into the street below in a high arc, "You look like a scrapper." She said, still smiling crookedly, "And I pull hair." This was, in fact, true, mostly she did it because people didn't expect it, and it and it caught them off guard enough that she could land something more solid.

"Ooh, a test. Sounds fun. Let's go make some noise." He gave a flirtatious nod and flicked his cigarette over his shoulder and down onto the street. A passer-by caught it in his hair with the words, "Son of a bitch!" which made Sheldon's smirk even more wide as he turned toward the window.

"Ooh, did I get you? Man, sorry about the hair. I'm sure that your Hair Club'll reimburse you for it."

"Hey, asshole! You threw that?"

"Duh. I just said it."

Sheldon looked at Domino with a roll to his eyes. "We have a winner."

"Ugh, bloody chavs." Was Domino's reply, but that smile had gone ever-more predatory, "They're totally worth the trouble." That said she leaned over the railing to call down, "'ve you got a problem? Pretty sure we can settle it for you." That done, she grinned, pushing herself away from the balcony and easing her way through the crowd to get downstairs, figuring that Sheldon would follow.

Sheldon wasted no time in following Domino down stairs. He pushed through the crowd just as easily and with a confident stride, he kept his pace. He was certainly ready for this. He figured out that the man wasn't alone and the woman with him wasn't too bad looking but not his taste at all.

He stood next to Domino with his head slightly tilted to the side, sizing up the other man. He stood a head taller than Sheldon which made the other man smirk. "You're a short shit." The man said.

Sheldon wasn't fazed by this. He wasn't about to ball up his fist over words. However he did consider it.

The man stood well over 6 foot and had the build of a football player. To Sheldon, it just means that he'll have to be quick and make his hits count. The woman was slightly smaller than Domino and had the gait of someone that took martial arts. This was certainly going to be an interesting match.

"How intelligent for you to state the obvious." Sheldon smirked. "Why, I bet your a chess champion with a brain like that." And it was laced heavily with sarcasm.

Domino was pleased to find that her initial assessment of the pair was incorrect, they weren't chavs, not exactly, they were more the trash with money sort, money and apparent training, which just made her smile, brow arching, "Go on, say something clever about how you're going to beat me."

At the woman's continued silence, Domino just grinned, slow, easy, utterly predatory, they hadn't drawn a crowd yet, or even much notice, but Domino knew from experience that the calm wouldn't last long.

Sheldon was just about bored from these two in front of him but he wasn't about to turn his back on them either. "The way I see it, you're either the prick or a held prick." He motions with his head toward the woman standing next to him. "Looks like she's got that leash on a little tight." Sheldon smirked. He wanted to see just how far he could push.

"You sorry ass son-of-a-bitch!" The man's voice now rose in anger. This time he got the others attention and Sheldon smirked.

"What about it? Hm? Where's that lesson you're going to teach me? Class is in session." Sheldon's smirk grew dangerous now and if it wasn't for the sunglasses that he wore that hide his eyes, something was going to give and Sheldon loved pushing the envelope.

Without a word, the man threw the first punch. Too easy. Sheldon ducked and weaved to the side, using the momentum of the larger man to send him into the bar and onto a few patron. The woman sprang into action and lowered her body quickly to deliver a tripping move to keep Domino from helping out Sheldon. It was merely an attempt which from the now growing chaos, that move could easily be avoided.

Domino grinned, figuring that her new companion could fend for himself, since he seemed to be doing alright so far, she darted away from the woman, pivoting to keep her in sight, not about to let her opponent see her back if she could at all help it, "Short fuse. Someone must have hit a nerve."

When the woman moved forward again Domino was ready, ducking sideways away from the claw-handed strike, catching her wrist and twisting, doing much the same as Sheldon had a moment before, steering the woman inside with her own momentum. Mostly Domino wanted to see this turn into an out and out brawl, because that was half the fun.

The men at the bar looked at the man that was tossed into them by his own body weight, the stood and picked up their stools, hitting the man on the back and knocking him down. Sheldon stepped back at this point and pivoted on his toes as another man came from behind to attempt to hit him with a beer bottle.

Sheldon grabbed the other's arm, jerking him forward as his knee came up and connected square on the nose, breaking it instantly. Sheldon grabbed the beer bottle and swiftly turned in the opposite direction and in a twisting move, the bottle connected to the third man's jaw, shattering the glass on contact and knocking him to the floor.

This was getting fun for him and he was now enjoying himself with this little dance number. "Having fun, Dom?"

"Domino, thank you, and yes, I am. Doing alright yourself?" She said, she'd lost sight of him, but she could still hear him anyway. Her prior opponent was lost somewhere in the fracas, but that hardly mattered, since there were already two to take her place, though one of them did seem hesitant about hitting a girl, especially one as scrawny as Domino was.

This was, of course, something that she used to her advantage, clocking him solidly in the jaw, twisting to follow through with the movement, elbowing his companion in the chest, just enough to knock him off-balance and shove him back into the melee.

She figured that the police had already been called, they usually were by this time, and that meant they only had a little while longer before they'd need to make an escape.

"Fine, I get it." Sheldon couldn't see her through the fray but certainly knew she was still there. By now, the bar broke up into a riotous frenzy and every drunk worker, pissed off sailor or off duty cop was now pounding each other into pulp. Sheldon ducked and dodged one that tried to grab him which instead caused the assailant to grab the one in front of Sheldon instead, causing the two to hit each other.

Sheldon managed to find Domino in the throws of the melee and grabbed her wrist. "Let's scram."

Someone had gotten a lucky shot in, her brow was split and seeping blood, but nothing debilitating, in fact she probably hadn't even noticed it yet. She actually laughed at the statement, nodding once and weaving them both expertly around the edge of the crowd and out a side door, "That was the most fun I've had in ages." She said, smiling crookedly and looping her arm through his, heading off down the sidestreet, headed back for the main thoroughfare, it would be easy enough to blend in with the usual evening crowd and no one would know the difference.

Sheldon looked over Domino's face with the same smirk in return and noticed the cut. He pulled out his handkerchief and stopped. "Here, you got a cut."

He certainly had himself a great time despite how quick they had to bolt out of the bar. He normally wasn't great in a crowd anyway. "So this is what you do for kicks?" He softly chuckled. "Gotta love it. Makes for an interesting evening."

"Bounty hunter." She said with a shrug, dabbing at her brow, just making sure it wasn't going to start bleeding freely, "So I do sort of have to make my own fun when I'm between jobs."

A huff of a laugh followed, shaking her head, "Well, was a bounty hunter back home, don't know if I've got the qualifications for it here."

"Oh?" He puts the handkerchief away and nods. "Well, that explains why you can handle your own. I'm heading back to Culican to finish up a job there before heading back to DC. Not sure I want to report back to those dicks. They're only out to decorate their walls anyway. Get this, an operative that serves ten years of their life on the field and finishes a job gets a check for five grand and a medal when there could be a price on their fucking head. Yeah, some job. She shrugged, "So call in dead. If you have got a price on your head, all the better, make them believe it." Her smile was crooked, "And I could handle myself before I became a bounty hunter. I was a model before that, and honestly, those girls on their uppers are more frightening and more dangerous than any of the lowlifes I've come across hunting."

He lead Domino across the street to the bar. Opening the door, his senses were immediately filled with smoke and whiskey. The sounds of darts hitting the board and music filled his ears. It was quieter than the last place and it didn't seem like it was going to get a lot of action which was nice. "Ladies first." He held the door open mostly for civility.
