She put her magazine down for a second and looked at Henry. Was he not happy with the engagement? He'd said he was. She looked over at the box and frowned. "You're pretty inventive when it comes to swearing," she added, not really sure what else to say. It was one of those awkward moments that Gabriella still wasn't sure if she'd ever get used to. She stood, then sat next to him, one magazine in her hand as she looked at the box.
"Panties for Anthony?" Gabriella kissed Henry lightly and gave him her magazine.
"Henry, if you don't want to get married or you don't want... me just tell me. Please." She was used to getting her heart broken by Henry by now, but if it was going to happen again, she wanted it done before the wedding. She wasn't going to just be another girl in his collection of groupies or ex-wives. "I love you. I do. And I feel like lately you're just... not here. Or not wanting me anymore."
Maybe after being together so long, she'd lost some of that charm or magic from when he had first tried to "woo" her, all pretending to be her friend and everything.
