Eliot would discourage Candy talking to Lindsey, not because it was going too far or getting too involved, but because he didn't really know what to expect from Lindsey. He needed to see his brother again, talk to him one on one, on neutral ground. He hadn't seen, or heard from him, since the night Eliot had gone to get Ash and bring her home.
He watched her from the mirror for a moment, before letting her know he was there. He thought to sneak up on her and put his arms around her, but he didn't want to startle her. Instead he moved to where she would see him in the mirror if she looked up, and waited for her to see him.
