Dib wasn't fond of institutions, because he'd been in and out of them since he was six years old. Rather than deal with him, school and his father sent him to them on account of his believing in the paranormal, and, while he didn't personally enjoy the thought of being in one right at present, he knew they were safe. Actually, they were some of the safest places that existed, if you could keep yourself safe from the people inside the walls. He was happy that this girl understood that. He sat down across from her and gave a brief smile. "Hi, I'm Dib Membrane and this is Ferb Fletcher. We heard about what happened, and while I know this is incredibly hard for you to talk about, I'd like for you to try and answer to the best of your ability. Is that okay?"
The girl looked both of them over with an over-wary eying, before nodding once.
"Thank you," Dib said in a soothing tone. It was his Comforting the Family of the Possessed tone. "So let's start out with what we know. We've examined your records, and there's nothing in there, nothing that neither of us don't understand and we sympathize with you. Nobody should have to go through what you went through." He moved slowly as he spoke, putting his hands where she could see them at all times. "We're here because of someone else who has dealt with the same... thing. She's one of Mr. Sedant's first, if not the first, victims. She wants to know what happened to him, and if he's here."
