"I don't think it's too awkward. It's just the right amount of awkward." It would be a long time before it stopped being weird, and already Gar could envision some of the things that would be stranger than others. When he went to bed tonight, the smell of Sophie would still be lingering in his room, assaulting his animal senses and driving him to distraction. When they hung out, he wouldn't be sure if he was acting as a friend or as something else when he curled up on her lap or made some lewd comment.
But on the other hand, that kind of weirdness was something he was almost looking forward to.
